Spread out over 100+ forested acres, The Tentrr Catskill Retreat is located 2 hours from New York City. This collection of 6 Tentrr campsites in Bethel, New York has options for couples, families and large groups. The property, just a short drive to the Bethel Performing Arts Center, features a babbling brook and bucolic lake.
During the summer months, many campers head over to the Performing Arts Center for a concert – but there are a wide variety of interesting activities and diversions at this venue throughout the year. Take a yoga class, attend a wine festival, or join a Behind the Scenes tour of the historic Woodstock Festival grounds complete with stories and information about the operations of the iconic 1969 festival. Lake Superior State Park is also in the vicinity and some campers enjoy taking part in the tastings offered at the Catskill Distilling Company.
Two of the sites at the Tentrr Catskill Retreat are designed for groups and feature Star Wars-inspired designs. Perfect for special celebrations, getaways with friends or larger family gatherings, these sites can accommodate up to 16 campers each. Both sites feature sweeping lake views.
Four additional Tentrr sites, including a Coleman-Outfitted site, are perfect for couples, individual families or small groups. At each of these woodland sites, campers will find a spacious 10' x 12' canvas safari tent with a Queen bed, picnic table, Adirondack chairs, and a fire pit. Each campsite also comes with a pop-up tent that can sleep up to 4 additional campers. Campers bring their own bedding, food, and cooking supplies. A propane heater is installed in each tent to keep campers warm if the temperature dips at night and each tent has a Tentrr Loo (camping potty).
