The Exquisite Hobo Meal

baked potatoes

No matter where your campfire is or what you have left over by your final night, the Hobo Meal is always a great idea. Have the kids add their favorite ingredients together, roast it up and watch them eat.

Ingredients
• Your favorite vegetables cubed (Bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, potatoes, etc.)
• Your favorite meat cubed (Chicken, beef, tofu, etc.)
• Cheese, should you dare
• Salt/pepper
• Olive oil

Preparation
Most of the prep work for this one can be done before you leave for your camping trip. But don’t forget at your Tentrr campsite, you’ll have an amazing food prep station to use as well! Take a rather large piece of tin foil and in the middle put in your favorite ingredients. Top your favorite ingredients with a healthy helping of olive oil and spices then wrap it up tight.

Creation
The Hobo Meal will take a bit longer than the others to cook. Make sure you turn your meal every now and again but it should be totally ready within 45 minutes unless your potatoes are too large. Let it breath for a moment and then enjoy.

The Infamous Camp Croissant

The kids will love this one, picky eaters and sophisticated palates alike. Upgrade your typical ham and cheese sammy with a melty ham and swiss croissant!

Ingredients
• 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
• 1 Tablespoon Honey
• 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
• 4 Croissants (Split in half)
• 8 Slices of Your Favorite Cheese (We used swiss)
• 1 pound of your favorite deli ham (We used black forest ham)

Preparation
Start by mixing the mustard, honey and brown sugar together, make sure this is thoroughly mixed. Spread the honey mustard mixture on the inside of the split croissants. Place a slice of your cheese on the bottom half of the croissant and as much ham as you’d like on the top half of the croissant. Place the two halves back together and wrap in foil. They are now ready for the Tentrr campfire grill!

Creation
This is a quick meal, your croissant will be perfectly melty after about 7 minutes on each side. Let cool for a few minutes and then enjoy.

The Delectable Campfire Pizza

campfire pizza

Let your kids’ culinary craft shine with a DIY pizza night. Stock up on their favorite toppings and let them sprinkle and spread veggies, cheeses, and meats on top of an english muffin for easy personal pies that bake right over a fire.

Ingredients
• Store bought pizza dough (Or pre-made at home if you’re really with it)
• 1 jar of pizza sauce (make sure to bring a can opener if needed!)
• 1 bag of shredded cheese
• Your favorite pizza toppings (Pepperoni, basil, tomatoes, mushrooms, etc)

Preparation
To make this even easier, you can slice and dice your veggies prior to arrival to your Tentrr campsite. You’ll start by taking your pre-made pizza dough and making rounds about 6 inches in diameter. Then spread your pizza sauce over the top of the dough section and sprinkle cheese on top of that. Add as many or as few of your favorite toppings as you’d like. Place foil over the top of the grill and heat it up for a minute.

Creation
Once your foil top is heated up, carefully place your pizza directly on the foil grill top until the cheese is golden brown and then enjoy.
