Travis Kelce's Very Old Tweets, And This Week's Other Best Memes, Ranked
Here at Digg, we try our best to cover the most important and confounding memes that come across the timeline. But the web is littered with tons of great memes that never quite hit the mainstream and instead just bounce around the weird corners of Twitter or Reddit. Enter our recurring feature, Memes, Ranked.
This week, the memes include reactions to the UK government's reshuffle, Brian Cox's confusing outfit and Travis Kelce's ancient tweets.
4. Birth, something, death
The Meme
When I was a kid, there was a common refrain of "Life's a b****, and then you die." Apply that same logic to this meme, and you'll see why folks quickly took to this format. We've all felt, at some point or another, that our lives are spent doing some menial task until the grim reaper takes pity on us.
In between life and death comes some of the most dull, repetitive nonsense the human brain can conjure. Users of X feel that existential dread every time they log on.

3. Brian Cox's outfit
The Meme
This is by far the silliest, easiest to understand and most inoffensive meme we've ever covered. Brian Cox, the brilliant actor best known for being the head cop in "Super Troopers" and Robert McKee in "Adaptation," went on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon." He dressed weird, and the meme was born.
(And yes, before you write the comment: I know he's the dad from "Succession," everyone relax.)

2. UK government reshuffle
The Meme
On November 6, a UK government reshuffle saw both hateful home secretary Suella Braverman sacked and the surprise return of former prime minister David Cameron, who will now serve as secretary of state for foreign, commonwealth and development affairs.
A bunch of other politicians gained new positions (like the Minister for Common Sense, which sounds completely made-up), some lost their jobs, others resigned and people across the country made memes about the whole thing.

1. Travis Kelce's old tweets
The Meme
Football player Travis Kelce and popstar Taylor Swift's relationship is progressing at a rapid rate, and recently a new layer of meme fodder has been unearthed: Kelce's tweets from over a decade ago. It's always good to scrub your social media when you become super-famous — but Kelce, who's now 34, hasn't purged his tweets from the past 14 years or so, since he was a 20-year-old. From relatable moments to prophetic ones, here's the post-mortem on Travis Kelce's past tweets.

taylor has dated so many men who do things like read books and have thoughts so i feel like she must be utterly mystified by travis who seems like he lives every day of his life at risk of suddenly forgetting how to breathe

And if you're hungry for more memes, here's the last edition of "The Week's Best Memes," which featured "Genshin Impact" TikTok dances, reactions to the "Legend of Zelda" movie announcement, House speaker Mike Johnson's bizarre deal with his son and things people would rather do than trust men.
