On Sunday, September 24, the Chicago Bears played the Kansas City Chiefs in Missouri. This would have been just another regular NFL game with nothing newsworthy going on if it wasn't for the simple fact that one of the Chiefs players is now dating Taylor Swift.

The Kansas City Chiefs have been one of the best teams for the past several years, all thanks to quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce, the team's two biggest stars.

Kelce grew to super-stardom in the past year by hosting "Saturday Night Live," being in a ton of commercials and having his brother and mom hit the press tour during the Super Bowl back in February. Now Swift and Kelcee's forces have combined to become the most unstoppable story in both sports and pop culture. There were rumors that they were dating, and it only took a single post from ESPN's NFL insider Adam Schefter to break the doors wide open to a floodgate of memes, and memes within memes.

This meant that everyone's eyeballs were turned to the game on Sunday. And, of course, the cameras, both broadcast and private, were turned to one particular booth. They all wanted to see one of the most famous people on earth switching allegiances from her home team — the Philadelphia Eagles — to wearing Chiefs gear. The irony is not lost on people that the Chiefs beat the Eagles several months ago in the Super Bowl.

So here is just a tiny sliver of internet buzz that now surrounds these two star crossed lovers. And yes I was told to write that phrase, apparently it means something to you Swifties. Is now a bad time to mention my fantasy team is named after a pun involving Eagles running back D'Andre Swift?
