Every once in a while you see a post that makes you let out an honest chuckle and contemplate, "why didn't I think of that?" X user @kcjj_04, who I can only assume is a fan of petrology and all things rocks, put out a feeler: "Gun pointed at your head, name a type of rock."

Honestly, I think sedimentary is the only name that pops up into my head — and if you gave me a few more minutes, I'd probably throw in a made-up name or two — but people on X were far more creative with their replies.

Ever since the infamous Will Smith-Chris Rock slap at last year's Oscars, rumors and speculation have swirled online about the intimate details of Will and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's relationship.

The gossip and social media chit-chat has only intensified with the release of Jada's new memoir, and recent interviews in which she delves into some of the revelatory disclosures made in the book. After more than a year of Jada-Will Smith discourse, though, we're getting tired — and this was the general sentiment across the memes that have emerged.

Pete Davidson as a Swiftie

The Meme

Former "Saturday Night Live" alum and every celebrity's short-term boyfriend Pete Davidson hosted the "SNL" Season 49 premiere last week. The show took a long hiatus because of the WGA and SAG strikes, but it's back now, and with it comes memes.

Pete was in a sketch about the Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift relationship dominating NFL coverage, and he played a sideline reporter who was more interested in tracking their whereabouts than the Jets-Eagles game (which the Jets won, by the way).

The following memes consist of Pete in a pink fuzzy hat and a microphone, which is just about the most wholesome thing in the news right about now.
